Abigayle Flack, Soprano

Abigayle Flack (nee. Williams), soprano, is a recent alumna of the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studied with Mary Schiller. With the CIM Opera Theater, she recorded and filmed the role of Belinda for a movie production of Dido and Aeneas, which premiered March 18, 2022. During her undergraduate career, she was a member of the University of Alabama Opera Theatre, where her credits included Adele (Die Fledermaus), Joyce (Triangle), and Grace (The Blind Date).

Mrs. Flack has enjoyed a number of collaborations and concert appearances in the northeast Ohio region, including those with the Snowbelt Symphony Orchestra and the Ashtabula County Choral Society.

Mrs. Flack has been a frequent finalist in both state and regional NATS auditions, placed first in Birmingham Music Club Guild’s scholarship competition, and was the recipient of the Young Artist’s Encouragement Award from the Montgomery Symphony’s Vann Vocal Institute in 2015, 2016, and 2018.

In her voice teaching, Mrs. Flack is passionate about helping students develop awareness of the body and mind, acquire tools for effective practice, and take ownership of their vocal development—all with the end goal of experiencing the joy of performing.
